I got my struts replaced yesterday along with my brakes in the back (were warped somehow), but now my car squeals when I make turns. I couldn't tell if it was the front or back but now I think it's from the front. Is this normal when new struts are installed? It happens on both left and right and this wasn't happening before. I didn't notice it until last night and now it's bad. I'm going to call the place tomorrow but I won't be able to drop it off until this weekend.... Waste of time.

Did u get youre front strut mounts and bearings replaced as well?. Cause those could be causing that noise.
Your drum brakes were warped?
Is it a constant squeal throughout the turn, or does it get louder when the wheel is held in one position? Strut mounts won't cause a squeal. Maybe a squeak, but not a squeal.
Talked to them and they said it's probably the backing plate for the rear brakes are probably rubbung. I should have just done this myself.... thought I'd say some time (and waste some money...) and have them take a look at it. Not too impressed with the service. Guess it's time to finally get a torque wrench for my wheels and just do it next time. (Hardly anything, but that's what was keeping me from doing any brake work...)
Can't get it in until Saturday, so I get to drive it like this for a while. It's a just a squeal when I turn. It get louder if I turn faster but it even comes up at 5mph.

I bet that is your front discs rubbing on the squealers of your pads, my car did the same thing, it was becuase the brake sliders weren't greased right and it caused the caliper the ride on the disc through turns until it wore down the pad enough that it hit metal through a turn
Its your front brakes. Mine are doing this now and according to my good buddy and brake check manager its the fronts needing to be replaced. I find it weird though because I donn't know about you but mine only comes from one side and only does it when I turn to one side.
So far I've talked to my friend and took it to a mechanic(I thought it was a wheel bearing maybe) and they both said I needed a front brake job.
Well I find it odd that this just started happened the day I got my rear brakes replaced. I don't plan on paying for jack on this. They said I do need front brakes. I sort of question that. Rotors are ehh... If they say they want to replace the front brakes from this I'll go ape @!#$. I'll do it myself but I'll be pissed since it seems like they would have done something. I am 99% sure the sound is from the back though. Had the windows down today and really listened to it.

Best thing to do is get a friend who is pretty savvy with brakes and have him check it out.
Honestly I would calm down. A lot of people dont notice things are wrong with thier car until they have something done to it. Then they seem to find everything and blame it on what ever they have changed. If you need front brakes then you need front brakes. Its not like that shop ruined your rotors and pads by changing the rear brakes. I've been in this business for years and absolutely hate when customers do this. Just go in there and stay calm and they might get you a deal on it.
