Are the turbo block and the non turbo block the same?Are they interchangable?

ok whats the difference in th auto and the mannual blocks? Can you use a mannual tranny on an auto block and vice versa?

yup difference is on the flywheel for manual u have a clutch auto u have torque converter but if u swap from a auto to a manual u have to swap from a auto to a manual computer in the car if it has tranny sensors

so thats the only differences is the fly wheel. well thats not as bad as I tought.should be easy then to swap from a auto to a mannual.

actualy, the 1.6/1.8/2.0l has differences in the block itself auto to manual. it has to do with the bellhousing bolt on the back (firewall) side of the block at the bottom. iirc, the manual block has a longer lug than an auto. you can cut the lug down to use a manual block with an auto. if you put a manual behind the auto block that lug isnt there and you cant bolt the tranny up in that spot.

i may have that backwards on wich has the longer lug, but i know thats the difference.

well if you cant bolt it up in that lug will it hurt anything if its not used?

idk but have fun fabing the clutch pedal and shifter something i dont think i would envy doing might not but hard but not something ied want to try ied wrather go clutch to auto i find using the stick shifter on the auto funny and u have a clutch on the floor u can realy screw with people sometimes lol had a car dont even remember what it was did that to it manual to auto really goofed with some of my friends heads how i took off without given her gas lol
