So i came across and 87 cavalier, 2.0 ohv 3spd., sitting in a junkyard, bought it for 200 dollars, running condition, no rust, mint with only 86,000 miles on it. Now my first car was an 83 cav and i like this body style a lot, and i was wondering what route would people suggest i take on the car to get some performance out of it? v6 swap?if so what motor would be suggested for an easy swap? Or build an turbo the 2.0?

I'd Reaaly like to do something with this car, and if possible i'd prefer to turn it into a manual, what tranny should i find and what motor to go with it? Should i find a beretta with a 3.1 and a manual? Although i would prefer going above and beyond that into a 3.4 or 3.8. Anyone thats swapped out the 2.0 for a v6 drop me a line and give me some ideas, I got a great platform to start with and i want to make something really mean
