That's good to know for sure but,I am sticking to my lovely lil star wheels to keep ole sunny stock plus the tires have little to no wear. But on the other hand ylime ur wheels on the firenza are a bit dated and I would probably change them to something else as well.Maybe some star wheels if u want factory look and they are available at capitol wheels.com as far as I know,or do a search for oem wheels they are out thier.I am still running the 13s.

Yeah I was thinking the same thing because I am getting rims for a grad present and I don't want my tires to rub. Well later.

1982 Olds Firenza S-1.8L auto, not fast but fun it is.

Are you sure about that? The stock size for the car was 195/70/13. Comparing that to 215/45/17 would yield a Diameter Difference of 3.54%

Check out http://www.1010tires.com/TireSizeCalculator.asp?action=submit

I think 215/40/17 are the proper size. They would yield a diameter difference of 0.13%

i run 205/40/zr17 on my car. next time i get tires im going to go with 215/40/zr17 to get a bit more width and height. no rubbing at all for me.

a friend of mine just stuck 225/45/zr17 on his 87 z24 and they rub like crazy.
