My dad has an '88 vert and he is trying to figure out if he could swap his top with a '94. He wants to convert his back window from plastic to glass. Does anyone know if it will possibly fit?
I am pretty sure it can be done. There are some who have put glass windows into first gens. Unfortunately, I am not one of them - yet.
Yeah I'm sure it can be done but my dad just wants to know if its a direct bolt on or if he will have to modify any brackets.
Not my field of expertise here on vert tops.However I am really good at getting quarter windows out and the pain in the a-- window sweeps.My gosh all the hardware is loco.
Can't see why not. But I think the later 92 to 94 frames are slightly longer. Something you might want to check out. I can't find my top instruction manual that has top heights and distances for reference.
all 2nd gens are the same besides trim and minor wiring differences.
