ya im getting a parts car and gonna take everything out of it and swapping a ld9 into that then gonna boost it and im also gonna boost my 2200 for fun haha ya i just put the boot on for @!#$s and giggles its coming off when i find a black one and i plan on cleaning up the hinges they have been sitting at my friends house for a year on his parts car so thats what nature does im gonna use some mothers on em and as for the 100 bucks no thanks
So what are you looking to get out of the hinges or trade for? How much lift do they have, and what are the shocks rated for?
i forget the actual degree but there the same as whats on my car i just have another set i just got. there rated at i believe 720 lbs. im looking for just to get more parts let me know what you got and we can go from there.

Yea, only thing aftermarket I got is the 2 wings, Bomex and projectors. My projectors look identical to yours, but they did'nt leave a big gap under them like yours. Would I be willing to buy the hinges? Depends on price, who made them, condition..
well i just received an offer of 250 + shipping from someone waiting to see if that comes through. the hinges are in great condition just as i said they just look that way cause they have been sitting for a year. i was told they were made by Glide but they match my Vertical Door hinges exactly.

So you're boosting the 2.2 SOHC.... only to swap it for a 2.4 Twin Cam?
Doesn't make much sense to me.
Another question, Why the 2.4 Header? If you're going to boost that won't be any good to you.

Doh. It's a OHV(over head valve) engine not an OHC(over head cam).
either way. dont make sence. and your not gonna get @!#$ for those hinges looking like that. there rusted to hell and it looks like the shocks are leaking. not to mention you know nothing about them except they are made by glide.
well as for the 2.2, 2.4 questions im keeping this car a 2.2 and i am getting 2 parts cars one i will swap a 2.4 in which i plan on s/c and the other is tba. and wojo the shocks are fine the rust you see on them is surface rust which will come off with sand paper. so ya if there are any more questions contact me via pm.
