would you happen to know what year they are and hopefully they have a getrag 01 with low miles.... my new car im buying is an auto but my first jbody was a 5 speed so a tranny swap is a must.

97 and 98 are the only ones i remember(Z/24s). There should also be one or 2 in grand ams there too. The only definate getrag i know if is in a 04' cavy sedan.

Where in NY are you? I can get you a motor and trans. Will a 2004 2.2 eco transmission work? I have a 2.4 and I have an eco tranny available. I am in Rochester and could arrange something. For a little extra I could put a new timing chain, tensioner, guides, water pump and head gasket on it, possibly deck it for a little more compression.

i have a 99 2.4 motor and auto tranny. motor has 47k on it and the tranny has approx 70k. ill sell you both for 600 and i'll even throw in an under drive pully for the motor.
