Hi all. I was curious if anyone had any recommendations about good body shops in the area. For those of you that know where the Old Navy / Borders is in Timonium (near Giant) I was sitting at a the stop sign / cross-walk in front of Old Navy and an SUV backed out and hit me in the rear over the gas tank door. I'm going to need to have iany dents pulled and the it repainted where it is scraped. Thanks for any help.
Ask lilbit or Event they're from that side of town.
Semper Fi SAINT. May you rest in peace.
I figured Art would have a suggestion or two, but I'll have to see about lilbit.
STAY FAR AWAY FROM KELLY'S!!! they cannot follow directions, even when they're written down. here's the list of things they were SUPPOSED to do:
fix dent in hood (took 2 visits before they touched it)
fix dent in fender(took 3 visits before they touched it)
buff out a few small scrapes and scratches - never touched(i gave up after 3 visits)
fix dent in door - this was handled on the first visit.
3 visits, and they couldn't fix what the dealership promised they'd fix.
Hunt Valley Auto Body, however, gets my approval...Fox Chevy used to, but i don't know how good their current painter is. Event got some stuff painted by Fox when they had their old painter.
as a sidenote - i know a few people in this area who have taken their cars to Kellys, and have nothing but complaints. some have had their cars returned with broken parts, etc - Kelly's doesn't respect their customers or the vehicles in their shop.
yeah, i'm convinced that coworker of yours was performing some sort of "service" of her own to get that kind of product from Kelly's...
Well, I'll stay away from Kelly's then, cause I'm not going down on someone just to fix some damage. But I wonder how much cheaper... NO! Won't do it.
Hunt Valley Autobody looks like a good possibility. My finance is asking at her office for me so I should end up with maybe a few more.
And how good is Andy Nelson's? Never been there.

Andy Nelson's is, hands down, the best BBQ you can get. Show up hungry if you order a "Jumbo" though...it's like a pound of meat on that sandwich. I also highly recommend buying a bottle of their BBQ sauce to take home. They're so good, Melissa and I even had them cater our wedding.
lb of meat is small....boooooo dis man!!!! mmmmboooooo!
hunt valley auto i heard cool about from a neighbor. and i;ve seen before and afters from this place... around up here past warren road... probably is hunt valley autobody but only focused on the cars...
doug at fox chevy was good, the paint and when the tree fell on the roof. def satisfied.
yeah, but Art...the guy who painted your stuff is long gone from Fox.
