Hey all. I've got a question for people in Baltimore County, specifically the Towson / Timonium / Cockeysville area. I've got a Sunfire that is getting on in miles and needs maintenance from time to time. However, I live in an apartment complex so I can't really work on the car here. I've been able to get away with reinstalling the intake in the wheel well (just jacking the car up really) and I replaced a leaking valve cover gasket without a problem, but I really can't do anything else. Does anyone out there know of someplace that I can go to work on the car around here? I'll take an abandoned parking lot or whatever you all can think up. Thanks for any help.
Talk to Art Pitman aka Event.. he lives in Towson in an Apt and he does all his work.. maybe he can give you some ideas on what you can do and what you can not do or give you adivce on a place you can work on your car . . . .

i second the whole talking to Art thing. he usually goes to the Towson U garage, i believe, to work on his car...that, or he'll do it out in front of the apartment.

Thanks you two. I figured that Art would know someplace since he does so much work himself, but thought it would be better to put it out there to everyone to see how many ideas there were. If he doesn't chime in here soon I'll just email him and ask him. And HOWDY right back falnfenix, good to hear from more people in the area.
I'm just south of Balto. city and have a HUGE driveway and a 2 car garage just lrt me know what you need done.

its not too bad, prob a 30 min drive....

i usually go to the towson garage, but with school being back now, gotta pick times carefully... although i know most of the police officers there and one was my roomate... normally most can get away with it, but sometimes if you dont have an id card they kinda check you out and make sure its not a stolen car/chop shop stuff.
what exactly are you plannin to do? just let me know.

Thanks Art, good to know there is someplace I might be able to go nearby. I just mean for in general types of things. I've got a trans cooler that I haven't been able to put on in forever that I'd like to get on. Stuff like that. I need to flush the sludge out of the engine sometime since I've clicked over 100k now. You get the picture.
Take either the jfx or like Belair rd and cut thru the city. Takes no time ay all, I can run out the jfx and 83 and be in Timonium in about a half hour. But thats cool only offering to help.
