Ok... my neighbor needs a car, and doens't have a ton of money... this is why:
His boss(which is his uncle, we'll call him Bob) is a CHRONIC alcoholic... business is bad (Bob's been known to show up at customer's houses and pass out drunk in the basement)... and since his uncle is drinking so heavily (sleeping in, not showing up to customers houses, not picking him up for work)... well there's not a ton of work. (One month my neighbor only got to work one day a week) His truck took a crap on him, and he's stuck working for his uncle. (We live in the boonies, can't walk to work anywhere around here).
His uncle Bob's doctor told Bob that if he doesn't stop drinking, he's going to die. He's also on nerve meds which say really big on the bottle "DO NOT TAKE WITH ALCOHOL"... which doesn't help. The guy (Bob) needs help... but won't get it. My neighbor wants to get out and find another job, since where he's working now isn't paying the bills... and needs a vehicle. He's a good guy, just in a really tight spot at the moment.
So I figured I'd try to help him out, and see if by chance anyone has a vehicle they need to get rid of. I worked for his uncle doing paperwork (Office administration I guess is the equivalent)... and I've not been in because I can't stand to work for Bob when he's totally trashed any time I'd go over there (not to mention he hasn't had any work for me to do since March, until now, but I told him the only way I was comming over to work was if he wasn't drunk... he can get violent when he's drunk... even his nephew is scared of him... he's a big dude... think popeye...I've seen him puch the shop and see paint fall off). Of course Bob is ticked off at me because he thinks I'm screwing him over by not comming into work... but I've explained dozens of times I'm not commin in unless he's sober.
Anywho's... if anyone has or knows anyone that needs to get a vehicle off their hands, please let me know. He just needs something that runs and will give him time to get back on his feet and later maybe get something else.
Thanks everyone

I have a 1984 Bronco II. The 4 wheel drive dosnt work any more, the body is rusting through all over and it needs one new front rotor and possibly pads on frot driver side? Ive beat the living heck out of it and it runs amasing still. The body is rusted so bad the hatch wont close tight anymore and the driver side door wouldnt close. I had to take the latching pin off the driver door and I have a bathroom style sliding lock on the inside to hold the door closed. Its a 4 speed standard(transmission is in amasing shape and shifts very smooth.) I absolutly loved this thing regardelss the terrable shape but dont feel like dealing with the drivers door anymore. Main thing I think it needs rite now to get it by is a pass. side wheel bearing. It has many new parts and the frame is practically mint. I'll give it away for free but before it is driven anywhere it would probably need a new wheel bearing, but dont quote me on that. Here is a pic

My NEIGHBOR is not an alcoholic... his uncle is... my neighbor needs a car so he has the freedom of not working for his uncle anymore...
His uncle is the same person that I was doing the paperwork for...

Simple, Its not a car, its a SUV, the body is seperate from the frame. The frame is in really good shape and is very solid, the body apparently was made with lesser quality metal and is rusting through in many spots.

And he said to thank everyone else that replied also... means a lot!
