first let me explain. my cav is a 99 2200sfi with a 4t40e automatic. on my way to work last night i noticed it was shifting a little weird. i pulled off to a convienient store and noticed the smell of trans fluid and saw a little around the cooler lines. i then pulled back out only to make it to a parking lot across the street.. it made it into a parking spot under her own power but let one small slip out on its way over. let me know your take on this... and please dont tell me the trans is toast
thanks alot...

It almost sounds like one of the lines blew this making u lose fluid and making the transmission slip that would be my best guess and take on the situation. So what kinda carshows u guys go to I have built my own car club up too established in 05 its called I.N.C. which stands for Intense Northeast Customs which is based outta reading, pa.
lower trans cooler line was the problem. thank god i stopped fast enough to save myself from serious trouble. thanks for the help.
we are primarily based out of westmoreland county but lately a few crews in pittsburgh that were ready to call it quits became sinful rides members. now we have around a 50+ member base. if you'd like our 2 crews should have a meet sometime in the spring...
