Figured Id throw this up here again to gauge interest. I have an 02 Cavalier Coupe with a custom 95-02 sunfire front end conversion. It has a well built LN2 in it. Something close to 57k miles on the clock. Car has never been in an accident, has a perfectly clean history.

It does need a lil bit of tuning, It used to be turboed (about 7k miles total) I have it running on a slightly modified stock tune so it could use some fine tuning considering it has a cam in it. This motor has barely seen boost. I blew the first block due to a seized up wrist pin and I put this one in which only had around 40k on it, and only ran it boosted under 500 miles. This engine block is like new.

It has a brand new battery in it, new thermostat, fairly new alternator & starter.

Starts up like a champ. Occasionally stalls out after u rev it up but only sometimes, this is due to the cam not being 100% tuned. Car will run fine. I took it for a spin the other day and it didnt even try to stall on me. Just an FYI though..

Howell Automotive Pushrods
Cromoly Locks & Retainers
Port & Polished Head
Stainless Steel Valves
5 Angle Valve Job
Cometic Head Gasket
JBP Turbo Camshaft
V-8 Spring Swapped Lifters
AC Delco - 1 step colder plugs
M98 Oil pump swap
Cobalt SS 36# injectors

Front and rear strut tower braces

Sunfire front-end conversion
RK sport Sunfighter front bumper
Custom OEM hood with welded evil eyes
Shaved side moldings and emblems
3 rear windows tinted and sunstrip added (35

The front end needs some TLC (mostly front end swap) - could use paint, however its not bad.

Included for free w/ sale of car: 95-99 Z24 rear bumper & a shaved fiberglass trunk. Totally stock engine head with only 40k on it. Upper motor mount insert. Any other spare Cavalier part I have

I really dont want to sell it, its my baby, had it for 5 years, but Im willing to take offers on it. Hard times lately and I could use the money. Not looking for a lot as I understand it needs some lovin.

But for a 2002 with under 60k on it... I wont take total low balls on it.

I know I dont want to but It's just sitting at my dad's and could use a good home. He drives it up and down the driveway weekly to keep everything moving and stuff but with it just sitting there I could really use the money instead.

The SS is doing just fine. Just about 5k miles on it since I rebuilt the motor Guess I did a good job

If it just sits and you are't even using it as an extra car I think it is the best for you to sell it especially if you need the money like you said.

My BF has a tuned SS/TC. It was tuned when it was stock at 295 to the wheels, they could probably pull a few more ponies out of it with the intake/piping/catback (soon to be turboback exhaust). She pulls like a bat outa hell.

I still love my SS/SC though. She has some unique mods to her. I wasnt looking for a powerhouse either. I just wanted a fun daily driver.

Jess as much as I hate to suggest it, see if someone wants to trade front ends. I think you would have better luck selling it as a cav and not a cavfire.
