If you won a 1997 cavalier or a 1996 cavi then you will be recieving a letter from chevy like I have about a warning pertaining to your air bag controller.
The air bag controller in the 96/97 cavi is mounted above the floor pan and beneath the front passenger seat. If your veichle has ever been exposed to a significant amount of water entering the interior and soaking the carpet, the air bag controller can be soaked or damaged. If this occurs and you start your cavi, the damaged controller can make the drivers and/or passengers airbag inflate, even if there was not any frontal impact or crash.
