hello everyone, just getting on here to let you know that i am in iraq right now and am doing fine. im not exactly sure if i will be finishing the cav as i got a 2002 corvette pewter 6spd right before i left for here. but i was just starting a topic to let you all know im here and ok. i will keep this thread and make it my thread for while im over here, so if anyone has any questions or wants to buy anything off the cav or order anything from me, feel free to ask in this post and ask me questions and everything else.

i havent fully decided on the cav yet but i know i want to get mti heads and a cam and lg long tube headers, 3" off-road x-pipe, borla exhaust, b&m short throw, hre wheels, lowered, fast intake manifold and 90mm throttle body and intake.
i might finish the cav but it will be alot slower process than i originally planned. DTP might have helped me do something for the cav as far as what to make it since i got the vette (COUGH COUGH full drag car), but we will see.
as far as being safe i will keep my head down and just go with it. i will be back the last week of september so im going to try and get a little jbo get together like the first or second week in october once i get back since im going to be missing the bash. let me know what you all think about this and we can start planning as time goes on and give everyone a heads up
i have actually done quite a bit on the cav since my last update on my other thread in january, but i will get pics of everything once i get back. actually the cav is almost done other than getting the engine put together and the tranny done and brakes. other than those things the cav is done. but ill get pics once i get home

actually my job is classified because it deals with base defense but its a fun job and i volunteered for the deployment so i got to pick how long i get deployed for and it was 123 days but it will be closer to 163 days

im not sure if the cav will be rolling around park ave anymore since when i get back im gonna start immediately on the vette. i already sold the carbon hood long ago, but i might part out the cav and sell everything and put it back to stock and sell it. i will let you know. i have like everything to make the motor reliably handle over 500hp. my goal was 600+whp but its more practical and better to do it to a rwd v8 than a 4cylinder fwd cav. i think its time for me to move on from jbodies. but i will still be selling jbody stuff and still stay active on the org tho
