Hey all,
Name is Jayson and been around in the tuner and car scene awhile. I am looking to see if their would be interests into a spring auto show in SE Ohio.
I have access to the Tallia county fair grounds. They have many buildings we could use and plenty of facilitys. There is plenty hotels and restaurants very close.
We have a 1/8th mile drag way 30mins away.( http://www.kanrace.com/ ) I am looking to hold a stereo comp. , neon comp. and car show. We even have some bikini ready car wash girls ready for the event.

Now as for details i am still unclear on all the specifics. As for date i am looking towards middle to late may. If any of you know if this would colide with any other events, please let me know. I think i will try and make this a 2 day event, 1st day would involve the car show and stereo comp. Then that night we would have a live DJ with the neon comp. The next day we could have a raceday at the local dragway.

So for now im trying to get the date pin pointed and set. The facilitys and dragway would be next to get which will be rather easy. If any of you have any contacts for maybe like jegs or summit or any other companys to maybe show up i would be interested in finding out if they could show up. Also looking to see how many j-body owners that would like to show up?

first time doing a show id stick to a simple 1 day show and build off of that. first time shows usually dont draw a big crowd

Yes the second day would not envolve any judges or anything, this would be at the track only and optional to the car show entries. Working to see if i can get a discounted price
for show car entries.

i would be game for a road trip to ohio

could you please avoid use of the name Tuner Bash. I do not want to confuse people looking to attend the GM Tuner Bash. Besides, we already have an event set up in ohio for this year anyways doing the same exact thing.

Well should be offical within acouple weeks. As for name change ... Spring Bash - Car show and MECA stereo comp. Should be on the books very soon and still working on getting a few items. I will post all the details and events as they are presented. If you would like to help or have any other ideas please post.

DTP - Have the show at Norwalk and I'll <3 you forever.

Well so far looking to be either April 26th or May 17th more towards the may date. Also tryin to schedule a very nice surprise to visit the show.
Please everyone check your schedules and see if this date is ok . I have been checkin with every site i can think of to make sure this date doesnt colide with any other shows.
If anyone else has any ideas, events or things to see please let me know.

Big surpise coming??

Also as for projected numbers... Kinda depends but im only guessing here but roughly 60 - 80 cars trucks. If i can get everything worked out quickly and get this promoted well, i think it should have an even better turn out.

is that mothers day weekend? the may date? isnt that cruisefest weekend and also think thats the same weekend as winged warriors here in indy.

Also Cruisefest has no dates listed yet, they may not even be around ohio this year!

I would be interested in coming, but really find a 1/4 mile track.
