trying to find a new home for my 3 pet ferrets...my wife is allergic and we got a house and she cannot handle it...am letting them go to a good home for free locally
are they de-scented?
and are they good around younger ones? (9years and 7 years old)
good with cats??, I live in akron also so I would take one and give it a good home

those little buggers stink, my dude had a couple and they stunk until he had them treated, he still had to bathe them regularly to keep the stench down, but they were still cute and lovable...even if they were rank.
yeah they are decented and neutered/spayed...Zippy is female and is 3.5 years old...Socks is male and 2 yrs old(VERY PLAYFUL) and Duckie is 1 and is also playful...they are all litter trained and great around animals

I live in Elyria, Ohio, about 20 mins west of cleveland
let me talk with the wife and make sure...We got a nice place in a small town, and two boys who would love them for their entire lives. My oldest wants a small dog, but ferrets are way cooler to play with.
I live about 45min from Elyria, so you could still come and play with them when you wanted to.
I'll PM you in the A.M. on her decision, and we may be up to see you tomorrow evening or next weekend.

We just bought one a few months ago, I love her. Most come descented now, at least the ferrets bred by Marshall do (sold at Petco etc.). Their anal scent glands are removed, though they still have the ones in their neck I believe. We bathe ours often, but it honestly doesn't bother me as much as others.
Lots of learning with this lil rat, but just as much fun
