i so need to remember to check the email replies box....
Ahh that sucks. But good to see you got her fixed and that last pic looked fun.
What a pain in the ass that was.
i am going through the same problem right now... i just installed a new deck and system now my car wont start you said your ignition wires werent making contact. god.. i dont want to start messing with the wiring harnesses is there an easy way to get at those wires. i already have my dash off anyway.
i have a 1999 z24, i work at best buy and i had an audio system (deck, amps, sub, all new monster cable wiring etc.) and a viper remote start/keyless installed. the first guy installed my remote start, installed the theft lock over ride and once he was done he couldnt get my car to start. so it was sitting back there in the install bay for an hour. Some how he restarted the system and i wasnt suposed to remote start the car other wise it would seize up again and not start. Second guy fixed it, the first installer wired the theft lock over ride wrong. A friend of mine who has a 1998 Chevy Lumina had the same exact thing happen to her car at Best Buy.
i also work at best buy and im hoping that the guys who work in install know what to cut out of my old harness and how to rewire the relays to get my doors to lock/unlock....
someone just called me and told me that a replacement harness WITH an employee discount is $940!?!?!?! HOLY CRAP... thats with NO labor!
