Well Erin and I are looking at going to this. It is on July 1st, that is a Friday, Downtown Columbus. From what I have heard it is really nice thing to go to in the area. If others would like to go then just let us know in this post. Thanks

Ohh really? I grew up on N. Ogden so yes I do know what it's like growing up on the hilltop...
I've been to Berliner 3 years in a row, with no problems. I can more than take care of myself.

Take it from somone who has been down there from MIddle to the end of HS.. That isnt a safe place to be because its all thugs and wanna be gang bangers down there that like to start crap..
Now the Berliner Park that Erin is talking about I have no idea how it is lol.. Never been there, but any place besides Front street and the other streets downtown is ok to be at..
Me, im not going down there this year because I like to avoid trouble at all cost lol.. Ive had my share of Trouble in HS..

I lived on North Ogden for a little while, and Eldon, Terrace, Hague, Harris, etc.. Ive been robbed, shot at, jumped, etc.. Im with Whitecavy on staying out of trouble lol. Columbus sucks anymore. Just trying to give ya some tips Erin, Im not saying you cant handle yourself. Its just that kids these days dont fight one on one anymore, for some reason they like to run in packs and think they are the top dogs in the ghetto LMAO

I lived at the corner house right by the alley/railroad tracks. Our house was robbed, parents bedroom window was shot at and my sister was rapped over there so yeah...it took my parents awhile but we finally left there.
Columbus does suck but cops are constantly circling around at Berliner during Red White & Boom so I think that's why people keep themselves in check over here. As long as you mind your own business then you should be fine. I actually saw a lot of people from my high school there (Grove City) and it seems that alot of people bring their families there. I also worked down town and had to walk to the court house all the time...I can agree with not walking around downtown at night.

It's off of Greenlawn Ave, kind of by Harmon Ave. It's basically used for a softball/baseball. Here's a map of it:

It's a huge open space and there are places to park so you dont have to be away from your car. You just have to make sure your there early enough to get a spot.

What's his/her name? I grad. in '02 but know a lot of upper and lower classmen. Honestly there isn't much going on besides in Ohio Tuning meet this weekend. We're a boring city

My roomie is Sam Riggle, but Brandon Tigner also goes to school with me, and then he has some friends stop up occasionally, not sure of their real names, we just know them as Ricer and Beaner. There are a few others, but i'm drawing a blank right now. You should know Tigner, he graduated in 02.

BTW- i'm always out on Stringtown Rd. at the Manheim Auto Dealer Auctions. Man you should see what cavy's go there. Dirt Cheap.

Yep, my ex use to work there in the detailing area. I went up one time for an auction and Cav's were going for like $700. I wish I would of got my car for that!

I looked up Brandon Tigner but wasn't able to find him in the student section or the football section. I also asked my friend if she heard of him and she said no so I have no idea. I thought I recognized his name but I realized I was thinking of a guy with the last name of Ticknor.

It may be spelled that way. i'm unsure. really my roomies friend more than mine at all, i just know of him. now that i think of it, he was a freshman last year which means he would have actually graduated in what.... 04? So you'd be a few years older than he is.
Thats what sucks about my job, being 22 and in a big city, and not being able to do anyhing cause i'm all by myself here. lol.
