last year i tried this and ended up with only one person..hahaha this year i am hoping to get some more, but realize that the bash fall RIGHT before the show this year.
anywho, on JULY 10TH there is a Car show (about 2hrs south of Indy).
i plan on going to the car show unless something happens and i cant, so if anyone else wants to go as well we could all caravan down!! the "not so good news" is that whoever joins me, we'll have to leave early that morning like 6ish in the am... or the other option is that we leave the night of the 9th and stay in hotel rooms to give us a bit more time touch up our cars. if we leave in the morning, we will still have time to touch up our cars, but nothing too extensive (whatever you bring in your car). if we were to go the night before, we could run to a car wash if need be...
anywho, i will post the registration fees in a few days when i hear back from the director of the car show!! if you think you'd be able to come add your name to the list!!!!!!
ooh.. another option would be for anyone who wants to come, but doesnt want to leave the night before or early that morning, can leave when they get up and i'll give directions... however, you wont be able to park with those who do caravan..

Anyways I am going to be leaving the Bash Early on Sunday to make it to the show. What is great is that it is kinda on my way to Gatlinburg, TN

Also I was thinking of going Sunday morning but I just talkied to Justin the one with the Yellow MP5 and he is talking about getting a hotel for Sat night so I might leave on Sat night also. Don't know exactly yet. I had too mucj fun last year on Sat night to leave the Bash on Sat soo I might just leave early Sun.

I just love how this show is on the Ohio River throughout the City part of Rising Sun with all of the resturants and shops right there for your covenience. And the nice little shuttle bus to the Casino is nice also

yes, this is true... i think you live in the worst spot possible!!! hahaha on the exact opposite side of the Ohio River. but, ive been to florence a many a time and its only about a 35-40 min drive. if no one else comes with me to the show, i'll prolly go home saturday so that i can touch up the car and whatever. but if i do that i can meet ya on 50, right when you get off 275 if you wanna.. that way at least we could park together.

Well I am trying to decide what in the crap I am going to do. Right now looks like that I am going to the Bash on Wed or 530am on Thursday.
Then I eighter have to go home sat drop off my car at my parents then take the wifes cavalier to the show in Rising Sun. Or drive to rising sun then drive to Dayton, Ohio after the show and switch to my wifes car. Reasoning for switching to the wifes car is that I am driving to Gattlinburg, TN for a Weeks Vacation with the family that I have already paid for long before the Bash was scheduled. LOL
If the show fails wich I highly doubt I will just leave for TN 5 hours earlier.
yeah, the only reason the car show would fall through would be due to weather... this is the 4-5th year of the show and we've have 400+ each time....

FYI, there is still PLENTY of time to decide if you wanna come... but i would like to know who is so i can start to think about when to leave and all that!
Right now I am about to the point where I am going to take my wifes car to the Bash. ALL I have to do is swap out the rims and switch over the strut tower bars lol
I am not going to be able to make it. I am going to be making an apperance at a memorial Softball Tournament to help pay for the Funeral of an NV Theez Softball team member.
Maybe next year I can make it
