I was just wondering how to take off the stock struts on a 2003 sunfire...i just order coilovers and was checking out my stock struts and noticed on the back struts there is a washer looking piece at the top holding it in....was just wondering how you get that off...Thanks in advance

Before you take that off you have to undo the three bolts holding the strut assembly to the car. There is also one large bolt at the bottom you have to take out. Once you have the whole assembly out, use a wrench on that large bolt in the middle. I warn you, it's tough. Get somebody to use pliers or somethin to hold the middle part, otherwise the whole thing will turn when you try to loosen that nut.

yea i know that.....but the three bolts at the top that your talking about....it is actually one nut and 2 washer looking things
