anybody got one lying around that would help a family get back on the road?
A buddy got laid off awhile ago and both of his cars died. The cav is the easiest fix.

If you can't fix it with a hammer, you've got an electrical problem.
I have a 4T40E from a 2200 with about 50,000 on it. I would let it go cheap, but it has been sitting for about 2.5-3 years.

It's from a 2002?
From what i found that transmission is only found in the 2002 cavs and sunfires.
I haven't seen it yet to find out why.....

Its from a 00 onward. Not sure if it is from a 00, 01, or 02.
