Tennesse, Alabama, Georgia, Kentucky, and the Carolina's meet post
Friday, February 22, 2008 8:58 PM
Alright, me and several people are trying to get a meet together for the area mentioned above.
The day is for Saturday May 24, Memorial day weekend, and the city we are hoping for is Nashville, TN and that is because it seems to be so far the central most location to where most of us are. We are tossing around a bunch of ideas, photo shoot, food, and trips to the track, amongst other things to do. We are hoping for just one day, so we would like to invite anyone but due to travel time it may be out of range. This is purely an interest thread with more information to follow, if interest is high enough. Please feel free to contact me about this or leave something below.
Thanks.

Pigeon Forge would be a more central location. You'd be more likely to gain interest from us Carolina guys/girls.

We may look into it, so far we haven't really heard from any Carolina folks, but we are willing to change according to interest.

I'd be in for this.
I like to travel and would be nice to get out of the state again.

Haven't really heard from the Carolina folks because none of us have heard anything of it until now lol. Anyways, if it is in Pigeon Forge maybe some of our car club could get together for it.

This would be about an 8 - 10 drive for me if I were to go.
That's alot of travel with about 600 or so miles.
If this doesn't pan out, I may take this travel time to Kissimmee Florida meet which is about the same time as this get together.
I'll also have to check if this is going to interfere with our biggest car show event for our area.
I plan on entering the car into this for the first time so want to be around for this event too.
We'll see as time goes.

I haven't really looked yet, I would imagine so. Only thing I can find is the Pigeon Forge Super Speedway but I have never heard of it.

Dragstrip ftw.
I just hope the car doesn't break down though.
I'd hate to have to tow it all the way to the coast of Mississippi.
Any paintball fields in the area??

Pigeon Forge, is good with everybody? If so there is where it will be. Now anyone know anything about the area? Any and all help is welcome.

I vote for Pigeon Forge as well. Very centralized area for everyone. Plus plenty of places to have some fun. And if we get the urge to go cruising around The Tail of the Dragon is close by. 318 turns in 11miles of road.
