Dyno on Sunday of the show. Anyone interested??
Sunday, May 13, 2007 6:44 PM
Hey guys. I can get us dyno time for $45 a car. Sunday morning. Who is up for it? It would be 2 pulls and a print out. The shop that has the dyno has HPT and can tune, but that would be extra charges. I thought it would be cool to have some people get some numbers on there cars. Post up and let me know.

PS: I was going to try and have a dyno at the show, but the cost would be much more and we would need some many cars for sure. This makes it easier.

I do not know, but will find out. If all goes well I will have HPT with me at the show (my own). The price they wanted for eaxh car to have them at the show was more, and we had to have 15 cars pre signed up. This way it is a cheaper price. Early morning Sunday should be cool out to help numbers and tuning.

If I got the turbo on and the money, I'd like to. If not, I'd still come and hang out

Just a heads up, 15 cars will likely equal about 6-7 hours or so, unless the people doing the setup are VERY quick. Count on about 25-30 minutes per car, give or take a couple of minutes.

Stock 2.2L auto? My guess is somewhere in the neighborhood of 95hp and 110 ft-lb.

well performance wise: MSD DIS2 kit, soon to have MSD coil packs, REAL cold air intake (filter is actually outta the engine compartment), 10.2mm wires, platnium +4 plugs, exhaust: (lol) hollowed out CAT, HI-flow CAT as muffler (i no... its a 'wtf?!' kinda thing... lol...) and thats really the only things i can think of...

You would actually be surprised that many CAI's actually don't result in much of a power gain. Regardless, it would be interesting to see what kind of benefit your upgraded ignition systems supplies.

I agree, but not being able to change the race night not much can be done. Think of it this way if you run XX time on Friday and put down X hp, then get tuned for more power you know you should be faster (excluding driver factor).

I think this complete weekend is going to be a blast.
