Vacationing GA - FL

Should be arriving March 31, mid afternoonish?

Me and the gf will be headin first to White GA, staying in Cartersville a couple nights, then headed down to Tallahassee for a night and then Tampa for 2, then back to GA, then home.

Is there anything in any area that we should maybe see or steer clear of? Of course we'll be driving (not the cav) and being from Ohio, don't know the areas. Shes going on campus visits (FSU, USF) so the jnickel might be relocating later in the year

Any help is greatly appreciated!
Thanks
jn

I go to USF. Good school. I'm a fan.

My boyfriend graduated from FSU. I've heard they're really good as well.

I'm a bitch. Look out. I'm here to start drama.
Please take everything I say seriously.

That would be the sweetest thing ever, since I've never been to either (FL or Disney)
I don't think we would have the time to go that way, but I may just have to run it by her and see what she says its a great deal very hard to pass up. I'll let you know about that one, and thanks for the offer

if your gonna be in tampa anywhere from wed-sunday hit up Ybor city, its a decent place. however havent been in years, but im sure someone in the TPA group has, and can give you some pointers. i hear there are a few thug-ish clubs youd be advised to stay out of. theres also Baywalk, and i think a couple more upscale nightlife places as well. Tampa is a cool place if you have the time and money to enjoy it.

I live in Tallahassee. FSU/FAMU/TCC will still be in session so there will be things to do. When school is out there is not much for young single people. Tallahassee is ok, cops here are pretty cool, just not fun if you are racing and they have nights where to have stops to check for DUI. As a college town they love to do that in area near the colleges. One of the things here, places shut down at 2am or you can't get alcohol after 2am. Perfect place if you have a family.

If you go to disney that is a whole day thing. Can't spend that money to go for part of the day. Disney is one of those deal you want to do for at least 3 days if you are not living in Florida.
