I just bought my daughter a 97 Fire and I think the compressor is gone. I am just seeing if there are any around. It is a 2.2.
how much are they new?
If you can get a discount somewhere buy a new one then you won't have any problems for a while

does the ac work? or is the compressor just noisy, cause if its just noisy its ok the AC on sunfires can be a bit noisy and when it actually goes it will be time to replace.
Actually it is a bit noisey and not working. I was going to try and refill it myself and see if it is just empty or low. As for the cost of new I have no clue.
