I need one tire to act as a spare. Wondering a good place to get one that is cheap. what sizes should i be looking at that will fit my 04 cav perfectly. What would be a good price if I found a junkyard. Like $50 for the wheel/tire?
I go on long driving trips and it would make things a lot less stressful if I knew I had a fully functional tire\rim in the trunk in case.
thanks
standard tire/rim wont fit in the stock tire well in the trunk, I would have done that too, except for that fact.

I will just leave it in the trunk. I only need it for when I go on far trips(3 times a year). Rest of the time I will have the small one in the trunk.
Sheardown Tire in Bolton sells used tires for next to nothign.. were talking 15 $ each, 85 % + tread, and Then all ya need is a steelie, which I am sure a member here could supply for cheap as well.

i think you can get it under the cover, the cover just doesnt sit back right. im sure something can be jerry rigged to make it work. i just leave my full size spare in my garage right now.

cheap tires i've heard of is some place on Steelecase in markham, and cheap thrills in milton
I went to cheap thrills on friday and they quoted me at $50 for the rim and tire. I'm gonna phone that place paradoks listed and if it's no better I will go back to cheap thrills. $50 seems reasonable to me.
Factory tire said $77. Cheap thrills FTW
Sorry bro... thought they'd give you a better quote... once you know 'em they might quote you better... if you do call them up ask for Carmen... anyway... if you're going to get totally new tires... call Factory Tire anyway....
