This is for a project at SCSU that I participated in last year. All the profits that we make will go towards the cost of the show (if any) and the rest is donated directly to the project. The class is currently saving up for the final part of the project. The playground was built this spring and the grand opening was this past fall. The final part of the project is a rubber-type bottom that will make it 99% accesible for all people with disabilities. The playground has been called Kaleidoscope and is almost completed. This rubber surface is the most expensive part.

Anybody that does decide to be a douche, will be asked to leave. This means NO burnouts, hard acceleration, revving your engine. Just drive like a responsible person, and nothing bad will happen. Last year it was PERFECT, and MNSC and the attendies earned a good name in St. Cloud and Waite Park as supporters of the community. Lets make this a good year and start off with a fantastic showing!

I thought the exact same thing when I read this. I actually read it twice to make sure what I was reading. Either way I don't think I would go, but that is a diefinate immature way of stating that they will not put up with crap from people.

They should have said..... "We prefer that everyone that attends will be safe and responsible" or something like that...

besides.... this is a damn car show where talking about..... no revving your engines.... ya right.... I've never been to one car show where people didn't rev at each other a little and there where not at least a couple of burnouts in the parking lot..

They basically want us to show up in our "modified cars" to make them money (donated or not) but don't want us pissing off the local PD or making them look bad. Thats sorta like asking a bunch of bikers to show up and telling them they all have to wear helmets and be clean shaven.

Screw em .... I hate pricie people anyway...

You don't go to many classic shows i take it. I've only been to a handful of shows that don't have the "No Burnout" rule. Burnouts and such make your group look bad in the community eye. You don't want that unless you enjoy the cops around you all the time.

Honestly, I have nothing to do with any of it, just posting it up as an option, I could really give a @!#$ if you like how he words the rules or if you want to do a burn out.

I wasn't bad mouthing you man... I realized you where just posting it and didn't type it..... it's cool....

And Brandon.... your right.... I've never been to a classic show...... unless you consider 60's and 70's muscle cars to be in that catagory.... whenever you get a bunch of older guys in muscle cars together..... there is always someone leaving clouds of smoke in the street...... as long as it's not blaintent and your just playing around a little bit.... I've noticed the cops let you get away with a little more at car shows like that.

I understand the idea of not being a retard.... I'm just saying that people are always going to want to have a little fun and chirp thier tires a little and rev thier car significantly more than needed when parking into a parking spot at things like that..... it's normal...... but it doesn't mean you have to be stupid and drive like an idiot of bounce your car off the rev limiter... those people are the ones they are probably talking about.

I don't seriousley have a problem..... I just can't believe they used the word ass-hatery and came off the way they did...... I think it's funny more than anything.
