So, i never really understood what the point of the whole MSD setup ( as described above). What does it do performance wise to our cars. I'm currently in school for auto tech, and they say there really is no point, that the stock ignition system can handle pretty much anything you can through at it.
horsepower is the force that determines at what speed you hit the wall, torque is the force that determines how far you take the wall with you after you hit it.

Id also be interested in just the wires if theres not a line of like 10 people wanting them. I just sold msd wires,8224 coils, and interface modules and only got like $50 for them damnit lol.

Is has a hard time handling the severe conditions of 15psi of boost. Alot of people experience spark blowout at half that boost. An upgraded ignition system is a must for a boosted car.

The 2+ has the 2-step and a few other things and they don't make just the DIS-2 from what I could find anymore.
