Anyone have a current/ updated list of performance parts, gains, and maybe prices for LD9 engines. I'm sure there have been a lot of changes and updates since most of the posts are from 2005. Just trying to see what's out there. I currently have the car ripped apart doing the timing chain and water pump. Hopefully that annoying chain rattling notice goes away.

maybe chain rattleing.... turns out i thought that to and it was just my tensioner and belt... stretchd to far and tensioner bouncing on the bottom of its reach

I am pretty sure it's not the tensioner. It only makes the sound from 2500+ rpms. The belt is super tight. I have to pry it over the alternator pulley to put it on.

take a stethoscope to it, if its like mine it'll be near cylinder 3 and 4 and loud at the transmission. if you dont have a stethoscope just use a long screwdriver with your ear on the handle.

I have a stethoscope. I am planning on pulling the valve covers when I get back from vacation next week.
