How do I disable traction control on my 2000 cavalier? Its an auto, I don't know if this help but my sifter reads 1 2 D BUT it does shift 4 times.

put it in 1 or 2 and it disables traction control.




On the inside my car looks like a fighter jet.

I have a feeling that the last shift you're feeling is the torque converter lockup. If your car hasn't had the dash changed, sounds like it's only got a 3spd, and probably doesn't have trac. control.
