would a torque damener mount like the LSJ's benifit us at all? just asking? what are the benifits of that style mount over the style we use?

Torque dampeners don't usually have the vibrations that the solid/hard poly mounts do.

wtf... are these things in addition to motor mounts?
Never heard of them before, but googled pics... from just a quick look they look like an additional piece to an engine mount to better the tourqe loss, while still being "squishy" so the cabin doesn't feel the vibs...
Is that basically it?

I am actually fabbing a cobalt ss stiffy to take the place of the lower dogbone in my 04 eco swap right now. funny you were asking!!!

i am thinking in place of the upper mount how they are on the cobalts...would the design work on our car?

I thought that I read somewhere a while ago that they were junk and didn't really make a difference.

I will let you know, I am fabbing a kmount as I think that the cobalt mount it comes with is totally different, I just got the dampner and hardware, didn't think that the mount they had would work on a cobalt and a j? any truth to this??
