Need Input on this Cat-back Exhaust

Hello to all. I'm thinking about purchasing this exhaust system from this company. I would like to know if anyone know whether this place is good.

Looks like a generic cat-back with a fart can....

I'd grab a Dynomax Super Turbo muffler and tip for $70 and have 2.25" or 2.5" built by a local muffler shop for $60. Hell, a Pacesetter header and Magnaflow Hi Flo Cat will only set you back another $220 for a complete system.

Yep. Agree. The muffler will probably blow out within months. Muffler selection is important when maximizing performance. Buy a good muffler and contact mandrel exhaust or custom tubes inc. for piping. Spend $ 350 or mote if u want quality if u buy all parts online.

x2 You will want to do it right the first time. yeah youll have to spend a bit more but itll pay off when you enjoy it for years rather than it sounding like complete crap in a matter of months. You might luck out and have that thing sound great and last for a long time. it might be that great, low priced, undiscovered system but personally I wouldnt chance it. I went with piping from mandrel exhaust systems added on the resonator and got a deal on a magnaflow muffler from Amazon. granted it cost quite a bit more than the system you are looking at but I couldnt be happier and i highly recommend it!

^^^ if you're talking about the megan exhaust they sell, I've heard it. Sounded worse than the loudest raspiest straightpiped honda with a fartcan.

I have been posting a lot about exhaust as I have been in the market for a new one. So, with that in mind, I called Megan directly. They won't have any of the cavalier exhausts in inventory until April 13th. This is exhaust was one of my top choices. You can always youtube this exhaust for sound pics. Personally, sound doesn't matter as much to me as most. I want the most performance and will sacrifice sound like I did with my initial raspy magnaflow system. I don't think you can go wrong with this setup.

^You're retarded, you don't need a name brand cat-back. Get a decent cat and muffler/tip and have a local shop weld it up. Add in a resonator to quiet it down and you're done for not a whole lot of cash.

Pacesetter header $150 - $250 (coated or not)
Custom 2.5" downpipe - $20 -$30
Stainless 2.5" Flex pipe - $20
Magnaflow 91036 2.5" catalytic converter - $70
Magnaflow 10346 2.5" resonator - $70
Custom tubes 2.5" mandrel bent catback - $150
Dynomax 289-17733 Super Turbo 2.5" Muffler - $50
Your choice of tip.

Currently installed on my car. I have had 5 full exhaust systems installed, plus catbacks and mufflers. This Sounds better than any prefab exhaust or anything I have installed.
