im rebuilding a 2200 ovh engine and i need some info on how much torque i need on the bolts when i put it back together ?

Cylinder head bolts
Step 1
Short bolts 43 Ft-lbs
Long bolts 46 Ft-lbs
Step 2
Tighten an additional 90 degrees
Cylinder head bolt tightening sequence
8 4 1 5 9
7 3 2 6 10

Ooh ooh I know the answer. Head bolts are torque to yield meaning they stretch when they are torqued therefore if you try to torque them again they wont reach full preload and could snap?

horsepower is the force that determines at what speed you hit the wall, torque is the force that determines how far you take the wall with you after you hit it.
I got a good feeling he was using the original bolts...Guys do they make head studs for the LN2? OP if there are studs available i suggest getting a set. I have them on my eco & they are great.
