What is the proper belt size for an LD9 using an HO pulley? a search yielded no results. The belt I have on now barely fits and it squeals like crazy especially with the AC on. The one on there now is 47 and 5/8 inches.
i know when i routed my belt on backwards it squeeled like that...
is the HO pully bigger or smaller...
im running MD's Alt pully and OBX's Precicison Power Underdrive pully (which is smaller) so i had to drop 2 sizes smaller on the belt.. (if sizes are in increments of 5, i took 10 off)
Its smaller than the stock one.
The HO pulley is about an inch smaller in diameter if I remember right. I would drop 2 inches in belt size and this should put you right in the middle of travel on the tensioner. Start with a 45.5 and go from there, parts store number will be something similar to 455k5.
