Im gonna re-do my exhaust, because right now, it is just my stock muffler hacked off, and a cherrybomb 'resonator' welded in its place, with a tip on it. I hate that its so loud...and it also actually made my car SLOWER...!!!

Im gonna do it so that i'll have a 2.25'' catback, and possibly a Thrush turbo muffler. Does this setup sound like it could give me a nice lil gain??

Only if it needs it. Still, you're in the right neighborhood on size & muffler type. Just keep it the same all the way out back and you'll be fine.
