Quite possibly mission impossible.

Hey all, so after much consideration and anxiousness..Im going to be picking up a ecotec and a 5 speed manual trans in a month. Im gunna beef the internals on the eco and build the trans..then is summer i plan on dropping it in AND doing a 5 speed manual tranny swap. Does anyone here have any advice, experience, or even willing to help out? It would be much appreciated and i would forever be in your debt haha. Ive been researching my tail off in hopes to go into this better prepared. So yeah Im just trying to get all my crap together to pull this off.

Ecotec Motor

MLS Head Gasket
Wiesco Forged pistons
plasma moly bearings
rod bearings
main bearings
performance wrist pins
AEM Pulley Kit
Ferrea Plus valves
Eagle Connecting rods

5-speed manual getrag

Fidanza Flywheel
Clutchmasters Stage 2 clutch
B&M Short throw shifter..

All together this is gonna cost roughly 3600 just for the parts. the engine and trans (and trans parts) are ballparked from previous estimates. and i should def. have 3000. i gotta save up the rest.
