is there actually a company out there that makes a full and complete exhaust for the ECOtec on my Cavy? ive looked at borla, magnaflow, flowmaster, dc sports, rk sport and a few others but cant seem to find a company that makes a FULL after market exhaust... anybody know of any? or is anybody selling any at all?? im kinda gettin tired of trying different mufflers and not getting the sound that im lookin for... everything sounds too "ricey" to me...

sorry, but there is no FULL exhaust kit for any cavalier, you have to piece one together. i would recommend a pacesetter header, or a dc sports header if you can afford it. a magnaflow cat, and for a muffler, i would use the dynomax super turbo. cheap, quiet, and fits perfectly underneath bumper. i would add a glasspack to smooth out the sound which will make it sound sooo much nicer, mine was way raspy without it. and for pipe size, for a plain engine, i would use 2.25 inch pipes. i used 2.5 because of future mods. hope this helps
well i currently have a dc header and a real crappy resinator and currently a flowmaster 40series... i dunno how big the stock downpiping is but i had a shop make me an exhaust kuz i needed one right then and they told me they were gonna put 2.25 on and so i got a 2.25inlent/outlet flowmaster and it wouldnt fit so i had to get a lil coupler and sum clamps and make it work...
and there is a raspy sound that im trying to remove from the exhaust... i figured it was the crappy resinator... so im gonna put in a CAT were the resinator is so i can get my gas milage back up and also put in a new O2 sensor... and i also have a cherrybomb glasspack that i could put on but idk... could the resinator be causing that horrible raspy sound??

how big is the resonator?
On my tan cav currently I have Pacesetter aromr coated header, almost no down pipe with a magnaflow high flow cat move as far forward as I possible could get it with a huge 31" resonator, 2.25" manderal bent piping going back to the dynamax super turbo muffler and at the end a crappy looking aluminized exhaust turn down. It looks stock, its just slightly louder then stock, and there no raspiness. Overall I love the setup I have.
i would say its about 15in long...

DC Sport exhaust and their DC Sport header replacement is the closest to what you are looking for.

since when do cat converters increase gas mileage?
run a cat and a resonator and a muffler and you'll be pleased.

never
HC = unburned fuel, CO= partially burned fuel
The main function of the cat is burn up the HC and CO particals that made its way through the engine before its vented into the atmoshpere. They are made to bring down emissions and make vehicles run "cleaner" (less polution)
they do not raise gas mileage
To the OP:
You can get a full exhaust 2.5" including the header back to the tailpipe. Stan's Isuzu (iperformance.biz).
It includes a nice 4-2-1 header and high flow cat, with 2.5" piping (NO bottlenecks).
But its very pricy. If you cannot weld and do not feel like taking your car to an exhaust shop, this may be an option for you. It is supposed to be completely bolt on - no welding or cutting necessary, which may warrent the price for some people.
I think the complete system comes to like $1200.

this is very tru, but if u dont have a cat or an O2 delete, ur O2sensor will eventually foul out causing ur car to run rich and like ass... am i correct? plus im told that it also make the exhaust a little quiter... is that correct also?

This is the system I am running on my SC Eco...and I love it! Full eshaust system, header, down pipe, high flow cat, resonator, and then pipe and magnaflow muffler. All 2.5 mandrel bent pipe and the collector is also 2.5 inch.
Sounds awesome and was a huge, huge improvement over my RKSport header, stock down pipe stock cat and the the RKSport 2.25 magnaflow catback.
I paid around $1200 for it shipped. Well worth the money spent and great customer service. Took about 3 weeks total to get it once I ordered it since they are made as ordered not a stock/shelf system.
I did have to have a 2 inch piece of pipe inserted where it goes over the rear axle though since my car is lowered. The system is designed for stock ride height.

Eh...old man with a Corvette now...it was bound to happen sooner rather than later right?

If anything you get worse mileage as it's a restriction, unless you mean worse mileage because of the 2nd O2 sensor not reading the after-cat exhaust properly.
Don't buy from MANTAPART!!
