Hello everyone ive been reading on here for awhile and just wondering if u were me what would u do. I have a 99cav z24 106k on the dial that i bought knew it had been in a wreck before but had a newer motor in it so i figured no big deal...2 weeks after i got it the motor went was said that it broke something in the motor and made a whole in the side...and other 2.4 motor another 2 weeks same prob the 1st motor i have no idea how many miles were on it but the second one only had 12k on it when i pulled it out of the junker that was hit in the rear... so now my convertable sat all this summer with me trying to think what should i do with it...i cant drive stick so i have to keep it an auto and just bought a 2nd house so on a tight budget....i was considering putting in my garage and buying 3800 sc parts and eventually putting all together even though about putting a 2.2 beater motor in it cause my 96 has lasted me over 160k miles and still beating strong...kinda scared on how these 2.4 motors are unless theres a strong one i should be looking for out of another make of car (grand am or something) well any imput would be great.
