Driving home today, my car was cutting out again at over half throttle at lower rpm's, and I thought to myself that "this car is driving like the headder is leaking". So I wen't to wall mart, bought some ramps and parked my car on them in my apartment building parking spot "it's still on them, I'll fix it before work when the exaust is cool). Sure thing, I revved up the engine and could hear a definite vroomph coming from where the downpipe hooks the the header (pacesetter ball joint with 2 bolts set in springs type flex joint). I noticed the the engine was moving quite a bit (rotating at least an inch). I don't know if this is bad for sure, but I could tell that the flex joint was movving quite a damn bit, and was wondering if some fairley solid motor mounts would help fix this problem and keep the flex joint from loosening/wearing. Curiouse if any one else has had this problem before and how much engine rotated is eliminated with better mounts. Thanx guys.
Engine mounts have always helped J'Bodies from cracking and breaking downpipes.

double check the bolts/nuts are tight , the springs should be almost fully compressed
having mounts will help , and his ^^^^ will help keep the vibrations down
Thanx, I've fixed to exaust for now, but still need to remedy it, my intake is hitting the hood too dangit. I live in the same town as Turbo Tech, so that's probably where I'll go for em when my wallet is thick enough (I've just got way to much crap to fix right now, don't you hate that)
