i have A 99 cavalier that needs a new engine. i dont want to put another stock motor in it but i have no idea what i can put in it. i would like to know what i can put in it and how this is going to cost me and is it worth it or should i just get ride of it. I have put a lot into the body on this car so it would be really hard to just let it go. I would apprecate your help thanks.

they told me i had a bent piston rod so had have to put in a new engine cant they just fix the rod?

they should be able to rebuild the engine you have as long as you didn't hurt the block and head. But what engine do you have, a 2200 or a 2.4?
