The best mod you could do, is use the search button.

Also I think your going to want more power than speed.

~Boost. Its what's for dinner!~

technically since our cars top out around 105-110 speed should not be of concern to you until you go force inducted. Juss do the basic bolt-ons for sum extra power.

no more cavy...now 240 =]

I see a cool-air intake
It's got a NOS-fogger system and a T-4 turbo
I see an A.I.C. controller
It has direct port nitrous injection
Yeah, a stand-alone fuel management system
...Not a bad way to spend $10,000

come on guys, be nice, and teach. he needs to do some proper maint first, you might want to fluch the headlight fluid first. that will definately free up some speed.

maybe you should be more specific on your questions. if you mean you want to go faster then 108, then just stop now, cuz no one is going to start telling you, and regardless, if that is what your asking, this thread will probably be locked. if your asking something else, then please clearly state that. if i knew what exactly it was that you wanted, i would try to help.

boost and internals lighten the car, suspension to control power to road, tires=grip, then to a tuner program or new custom ecu...ecu can do the speed...but all else needs done before you play with an ecu

set the example, never let the example set you.

a bolt-on gm s/c kit would be the best place to start honestly, forget doing the intake and all those small mods. the gm s/c is gonna run your at least 2k though. You could also build your own turbo kit but if your not too familiar with doing so i'd go with the gm s/c like i did, bolted on you should run high 14's, i did and with a couple pulley sizes smaller you'll drop to mid-low 14's easily.

If you want speed/power, buy a different car.

Your such a tool, you modify your j-body and tell others to buy another car. Lots of hp and speed can be achieved in a j-body. Faster cars=higher insurance dumbass.

I want to share something with you - the three sentences that will get you through life. Number one, 'cover for me', Number two, 'oh, good idea, boss', Number three, 'it was like that when I got here.'

Start out small man. unless you have a few grand to just drop into this car. I'd say save it. Personally. I feel like I'm done with the car just short of some newer suspension. I got the car where I wanted to get it as of the moment I picked it up.

I don't really race that much anymore. but I enjoy the get up feeling from the car. and that's all I ever wanted. a fun car.

making a 13 or even 12 second car like some of the guys on this site will require a lot of money, time, and tech skill in order for you to make it work.

and at the end of the day, it's still a cavalier. A nice little low budget machine.

Just pick up something else. I'm looking at a GTI V right now myself...

retro-rockets are probably the best bet for the most speed.

LOL

That was a Darwin award in 1995 I think, some air force kids tied 2 booster rockets to there 1985 grand marques and ran it into a mountain.

When they found the car it was on the other side of the valley with the break lines melted (and not from the rocket.)

I saw the episode of "Myth Busters" where they did that with an old Oldsmobile.
