I bought a short air intake for my 2001 sunfire 2.2. It came with one bracket, but I don't know where to drill and put it for maximum support, or could someone tell me what I should do? Pics would be helpful
Thanks!

hey dude,
i don't mean to sound like an ass here, but if you dont know how to put an intake on... you shouldnt be modifying a car lol but since im not an @!#$ i will try and help out. take of the old intake.... put on the new one... tighten the clamps on the rubber peice to the throttlebody and the intake tube, then the same to the filter on the other end of the tube. now for a 2200 i have seen people just let it sit by the battery with no support (which i dont really recomend) so find really anything stable (i.e. not the belt or a pully) to mount it to, an intake dosnt need alot of support it weighs maybe 1 lb with the filter. just make sure its secure and won't fall off, then you ill be ok...
good luck

I guess here's a pic of my 2200 with a short ram. Maybe it will help?
