Im planning on doing a 2.2 eco swap with my 2200 5speed. but im hearing mixed information from club cav, and i come here for clarifacation hehe. ok i have 2001 2 door cavy , with the 2200 and 5 speed getrag. first, i was told that all i need for the swap was the ecu, and the motor, and probably the engine wiring harness. then another guy told me i needed the transmission too, because the bellhousing on the ecotecs was different, my question is, can someone help me out? i dont want to buy something i dont need hehe, and i thought the eco's used the same 5 speed getrag the 2200's did, but im not sure, any help is greatly appreciated.. thank you
