I got a 2.3 manafold and was wondering can you still use the 2.4 t/b or do i have to use the 2.3 and how do i mod the 2.4 if i can use it. Also what length bolts do i need when i get the adapter flang?

Huh?
I didn't have to do any of that... The cable bracket I had to notch out , but only because of the auto tranny. I didn't have to tap any other holes or redrill a hole in the cable bracket.

if you can find a 2.3L TB i would use it. Its 56mm over the 54mm of the 2.4L TB.

May i make a suggestion? even though you can use the 2.4tb, a better choice would be the 2.3tb because its larger. 56mm as opposed to 52mm.

And i think if your gonna go with 2.3 tb, u need a 2.3 tp sensor, map, and i think IAC.

I tapped the other hole so I could put a bolt into the TB to hold the braket on. This seemed better than using a nut/bolt for that hole. I tapped the other hole so the bolt that bolts the tb to the mani could fit in, iirc.
