Ok so i have a 2002 cavi with the 2200 and im about to drop a z24 in it out of a 98.. What all would i need to do? Will i be able to use the same wire harness and all that good stuff? If you have n e info please shre it...Thx

yeah you should have searched before just picking up a car to do a swap. (HInt)you will need to switch out almost everything in that engine bay.

ya hes right you wont be able to do that swap with out pretty much starting over in the engine compartment...
why would you put a 2.4 from a 98 into a 2002? you have the BCM and almost everything needed to just do the eco swap, would likely be easier, and then you have the craddle, and some newer technology.

now a days at least with my experience eco engine are selling for less than the 2.4's. An eco swap (complete) is going for about $500 less than a 2.4 swap!!!
fell first of all i got the z24 for 150 bux with tranny. Also i already have the 2.4 built and the whole turbo kit layin around for that egine so i figured why not!! I just dont know about a few things,like the pcm and bcm. Whould i have to switch those things as well?
whats a bcm?
I know the pcm is on the passenger side bumper behind the horn.
