Click me for pulley
Has anyone used this on their vehicle? What size of belt is needed? Is the matching alt pulley a over drive or under drive pulley?
Is the sonoma 2.2 a ln2? If it is this pully would work great. It has good reviews.
Im actually thinking of buying one just to try since i cant find a 2.2 pully anywhere else.
According to the ASP site that part number is for the 2.2L in the GM truck applications. The only one they list for the 2.2L in the J-bodies is part number ASP-840097, which is for the '95-'97 2.2L.
I've got that pulley, which has been working good for me, but I wouldn't reccomend it if you plan on getting a big sound system or alot of electronics.

Do you have the alt pulley aswell? What size of belt are you using?
The part number I gave was for the '95-'97 2.2L, not the '98+ 2200.
I don't recall and I can't find the instruction sheet, but the instructions have the part number for the belt. The parts store will usually have a catalog with the part numbers and cross refferences to other brands and by size, you could check in those also. There have also been many posts about the belt. Not that any of this will be any help for you car.
I thought that the 2.2 and 2200 used the same crank and alt pulley?
I have the ASP pulley, and just like MadJack said, its a killer for big audio systems. I bought it a few years back from Truckperformance when it was still only $50 shipped. If you use it on a non-AC car, it requires a 66.5" belt.
Yes, the Sonoma uses the LN2, but the accessory drive system is totally different, hence the different pulley.
