Does anyone know if there is any other threads about swapping the Cobalt 2.0L into a Cavalier? or where I can look to compare the J-Body platform to Delta platform?
Nope sorry... it apprently hasn't been done... yet... There are a bunch of guys who can tell you the differences and I'm sure they will weigh in soon enough.... BTW you will lose some functionality from my understanding if you were to do this swap do to things like the drive-by-wire in the cobalts and such...

This is i think the 6th, myabe 7th thread in the last month on this topic.
In short, the transmission from the SS doesn't fit directly (MAYBE something could be done with custom mounts... MAYBE), and since the LSJ's crank has a different flywheel bolt setup (i think 8 bolt instead of 6), then you can't use the LSJ with the J-body F23 trans. Just put the LSJ supercharger setup on the L61.

you have too many other options for alot less money that come out to More power.....yes,try the seach button
you cna swap in a 2.2 ecotec and turbo that for far less money and get more power out if it then you would the 2.0 eco
