i was wondering if a resonator cuts done on loudness or just the raspeness on a catback exhaust. and also does it cut down on performance any.
I was trying to figure out the same thing. From what I have been reading on here, the resonator will make your exhaust soundless raspy. I am thinking of putting on a dynomax super turbomuffler but was wondering about going without a resonator since the dynomax is a quieter muffler.
The resonator will mostly just smooth out the tone and may cut the sound level a few db's.
