is there any more aggressive cams than the HO's ? or W41 for the 2.4l? what's the biggest anyone has put in their car successfully ? because i see they offer way bigger cams for the ecotec than the LD9 i think the biggest Ive seen them is with he .410 lift . i want better performance N/A
The only people running bigger than "hybrid cams"/LO succesfully are running full standalone. I will echo what Shifted said as well, if the rest of the motor can't flow what the HO/W41 can support, then bigger isn't going to get any better.

skillz isnt running a stand alone , karo wasnt running a stand alone
both are using HO cams

My bad, that's true. But both of them have reverted back to OBD1 and the 2.3 ecu, have they not? Still, not gonna work on the stock ecu without HPtuners, or some major changes to the electronics.

^^^^^ sorry i added a extra L , lol
his cav makes some wicked power too
You will make more power with more cam as long as you can suport the higher lift/more duration with your other mods, as well as fuel management.
Even the W41 profile is pretty mild for such a big motor.
i went to a shop around here that ported the head...then ground the cam to match...she runs like a beaut

So what is different about a "Miller Performance Intake and Exhaust Cams" that allows you to run them on the stock ECU, compared to regular HO cams? Have you converted to 2.3 PS pump, and what have you done about the intake cam sensor? I checked out your cardomain page, lots of pics, some very cool stuff there, but no info on the cams.

when it comes to cams, bigger is not always better. HO cams would be borderline too much for a semi-stock 2.4L and W41 cams or more "agressive" would mean doing some needed supported mods and imo stock redline would be useless.
the engine i'm building has something similar to w41's but its also a 13.5:1 compression nitrous engine.

i think the miller performance cams are simply HO cams. The intake cam has been machined to accept the 2.4 power steering pump. also a notch has been welded on for the intake cam sensor. then the 2.4 tower would be modified to accept 2.3 35mm lifters.
couldnt you just get some 2.3 cam towers and use those, all of the bolt holes line up if I remember correctly.
Because the 2.3 towers Dont have a Cam positioning sensor and has the pulley style power steering. i would think that modifying the HO Cam with the magnetic pick on/ hex drive for the Ps and making the tower accept 35mm lifters would be the best bet... then just using the Exhuast Cam tower ....it will bolt right up .
^^^A 95 cam tower from an automatic 2.3 does... not sure if it uses the larger lifters though.

95 = Lo .. not HO with .410 lift
I ran LZM Stage II LD9 cams, they're probably as big as you want to run without a standalone, they dyno'ed a 22hp gain on a friends car.
You might want to give level zero an email.
The problem is, that nobody will tell you what the specs are for those cams.
Somebody needs to degree them.
That's because they spent a bunch of time and money getting them to work right.... so why give away all that hard work for someone else to copy?
I personally would not buy something that i didnt know what i was going to get.. but any one have an idea of what size those cam's are ?
they should just give out the specs cuz if you wanted to copy cams its not the hardest thing to do you can copy things without the specs that the co. give out, on top of that people would know what they are getting
