ok now that i installed my ho manifold agane it drops in to low rpm like say about 700 or 500 when i come to a rolling stop after pushing the clutch in i was just wonder will it take some time for the computer to learn the new itake manifold also some times when i turn the ac on it boggs while accelerating a lil just wondering if it need to relearn or if its a leak thanks

My car idles right around 800 ish...

and mine bogs a little too when I turn the AC on, but not so much with the 2.3 pulley.

Just the nature of the beast sometimes I suppose?

but i mean ill be driving and it will bogg so it will not accel at all when my ac is on or do you think it a leak on the manifold gasket

Mine's done that for just under a year now... and I DO NOT have the HO Manifold. Only things similar I have to it are the RSM 62mm Throttle Body, and a stock manifold ported on the ends. But I'm not sure that makes a difference because the car's been doing that since before I had all that stuff in.

I have figured something out, maybe it has something to do with you as well.

Roll to a stop out of gear, clutch out, car acts normal.
Roll to a stop in gear OR out of gear, clutch held in, car shudders and bogs to about 500RPM

Two things here:
1) It will only do it if the engine is fairly warmed up or slightly hot and has found it's usual idle of 900-1000RPM
2) It will only do it if I have the wheel pulled to one side or if I'm turning the wheel as I come to a full stop. Imagine rolling slowly into a parking spot with the wheel turned, in 1st gear, clutch held in, then as you come to a full stop it will shudder and bog for a brief second.

I don't know what to make of all this exactly. I do know that the power steering puts a small load on the engine when you have turned or are turning the wheel, and my power steering has been acting up lately (makes a loud humming noise while the wheels are moving), especially when the car hasn't fully warmed up yet or hasn't been driven any distance yet. Has yours been working fine?

I don't know if maybe we need to have our clutches adjusted or what, but if that's the case I don't understand why it would only bog with the wheel turned, but not do it with the wheel straight. I don't see how those 2 variables have anything to do with eachother. I'm lost....

I have the rsm 62mm tb and ported im on my automatic 2200; she bogs bad sometimes when you come on to her , i was told the 62mm tb and im are only good for engines that are turbocharged or supercharged.
